Crown Award

Download Categories and Entry Requirements

Creativity and implementation deserve recognition. That's the goal of the Crown award. Entries are judged by another PRSA chapter and winners are chosen based on their research, planning, implementation and evaluation. Professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness get bonus points, which are the true trademarks of each of our winners.

PRSA Charlotte will present the 2018 QCPR Awards the awards luncheon on October 24, 2018. For additional information, please contact Queen City PR Awards co-chairs Amy George or Ashley Brown.

Sponsorship opportunities for the QCPR Awards Luncheon or for PRSA Charlotte are available. If you're interested in learning more, contact Kirsten Khire.

Why submit? The QCPR Awards are the Charlotte region's highest public relations professional honor. If chosen, you'll join the list of past winners that include some of the top organizations and practitioners in our area.

I'm interested, but what are the requirements? Campaigns completed between August 1, 2017 and July 31, 2018 are eligible. Entries must include a 100-word overview, as well as a two-page summary that highlights research, planning, implementation and evaluation of your campaign. Please note that video, digital/social media and print entries only require a one-page summary to mirror Bronze Anvil requirements. Supporting documents and links are also strongly recommended. All entries are entered electronically and pdf files work best.

Where can I submit payment? There is a link to submit payment on the entry form or click here.

I still need more help with my entry. Are there places online I can look? Absolutely. Our entry guidelines mirror Silver Anvil and Bronze Anvil requirements. There is a plethora of information on their sites, as well as past winners that you can view. This is an added bonus, because submissions for a crown award, with part of the campaign in 2018, can be repurposed for an Anvil!
In addition, look for our information table at monthly luncheons. You can also contact Amy George or Ashley Brown.

How are winners chosen? To avoid any conflict of interest, our entries will be judged by a fellow PRSA Chapter. This year our entries will be judged by the Central District PRSA chapter.

Are there any discounts? Our early bird price is the best price available. There is also a slight discount for multiple entries.
