Are you a PR professional new to Charlotte or new to the public relations field? Then the PRSA Charlotte New Professionals might be a great way to get involved in our chapter. You will meet energetic professionals in their first 7-10 years in public relations while gaining a professional network and developing your PR skills.
The New Professionals meet several times throughout the year for professional development programs to networking happy hours to more formal evening panel sessions. The New Professionals section also provide support and mentorship opportunities for students within UNC Charlotte PRSSA and Western Carolina University PRSSA chapters.
While PRSA membership is not mandatory to attend these events, we encourage young professionals to join to further their career development. PRSA offers a variety of membership levels to accommodate any budget. Once a member, young professionals can take advantage of the chapter mentoring program and media directory specific to Charlotte-area news outlets.
