Message from the President

It's Awards Season!

'Tis the season - awards season - and I'm looking forward to celebrating outstanding public relations and communications work at this year's QCPR Awards. This will be a great event for our winners and all our members, so save the date for 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27 at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery.

We want to celebrate all our members' wins, whether a company award, personal victory, new job or promotion. In August, my company, Retail Business Services (RBS), was ranked No. 25 on Fast Company's 2022 100 Best Places to Work for Innovators list, which honors organizations that demonstrate a steadfast commitment to encouraging innovation at all levels. It's an incredible recognition that highlights the way our teams provide innovative solutions and expertise to the retail brands we support so they can focus on growing their businesses.

We also learned the RBS communications team was a finalist for the PR News Platinum Awards in the Internal Publication category. It's an honor to be named a finalist, and I can't wait to hear whether we won.

I know there are many more things to celebrate across PRSA Charlotte. As communicators, we are storytellers, so please tell us your stories. Just email info@prsacharlotte.org.
