Responsible for assisting the Communications Manager with developing and managing the Airport’s communications programs (internally and externally). Works directly with multiple employees, departments, executives, external partners, vendors, citizens and other key stakeholders to establish and deliver consistent messaging and materials. This person reports directly to the Communications Manager. Independent judgment and initiative is exercised within established guidelines; performance evaluated on the basis of discussions and work products.

The preferred candidate would have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Public Relations, English, Journalism, Communications or closely related field.
Also a minimum of three+ years’ experience in the field of public relations, journalism or communications required. Communications background inclusive of internal and external communications. Experience to include working with printers, off-set and digital printers and graphic designers.
