The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing Monarch’s digital strategy, campaigns and reputation. He/she will oversee the technical implementation and evaluation of the organization’s web/online assets and social media tools to promote a positive brand presence and better optimize the organization’s existing marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be measured by his/her ability to improve the organization’s online presence with effective reputation management and campaign development. 



  1. Develop digital marketing strategies and post and manage content for social media platforms 
  2. Manage the online reputation dashboard and track the organization’s digital footprint; conduct quarterly audits
  3. Schedule and manage both email and social media marketing campaigns
  4. Use Google Analytics, Constant Contact, Simply Measured, Google AdWords, and other relevant measurement dashboards to analyze data and report on effectiveness of digital campaigns
  5. Develop and execute search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), conversion rate optimization (CRO), and Proven-Pay for Clicks (PPC) strategies as needed
  6. Forecast marketing campaign growth, outcomes and return on investment (ROI) for marketing campaigns; measure campaigns to assess against organization goals
  7. Build and maintain traffic to company website and presence on social media pages
  8. Develop and manage related projects adhering closely to deadlines and to budget, developing and revising ideas to implement effective digital campaigns
  9. Stay abreast of new social media sites and resources, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies
  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in marketing, advertising, communications or fine arts
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience preferred
  1. Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  2. Knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
  3. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript
  4. Proficiency in business social media campaign management on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
  5. Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, CRO and PPC
  6. Certifications preferred: Google AdWords, American Marketing Association Certification, Facebook and/or Twitter Flight School
  7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, time management ability, plus demonstrated flexibility to handle a variety of projects and assignments simultaneously in an environment with frequent interruptions
  8. Graphic design and video editing skills are a plus
  9. Demonstrate knowledge of computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office

Driver’s License that conforms to North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles. Three-year satisfactory driving record.
