More than two dozen states now offering legal, regulated sports betting and more are poised to do so in 2021 and beyond. This growth represents a tremendous opportunity for Group to educate Americans on legal sports betting. With a $15.5 million equity investment by New Jersey-based Edison Partners, a new and growing U.S. HQ in Charlotte, North Carolina and key leadership hires, Group is poised to lead this effort.

We are seeking a Corporate Communications Associate to help us elevate our brands through corporate, product and brand communications and drive consistent internal messaging. The Communications Associate will wear two primary hats: as a project manager on key corporate branding initiatives and a writer for corporate messaging. The Associate will help elevate the Group’s corporate brand through promotion of company news, thought leadership and public affairs, in addition to promoting our top consumer brands.

External communications:

  • Write and maintain corporate messaging including backgrounders, bios, about us copy, and more, tailored for different audiences and different platforms
  • Write and maintain product messaging
  • Manage all corporate and product news including press release writing and dissemination
  • Edit and place executive thought leadership pieces such as opinion-editorials with regional news outlets, trade and national media
  • Assist in re-branding of company from KAX Media to Group
  • Serve as project manager for corporate re-branding including recruitment and management of creative agency, deliverables and execution across internal and external platforms
  • Serve as project manager of subsidiary re-naming project as part of corporate re-brand
  • Oversee management of corporate sites ( and by keeping content up to date, refreshing as necessary and serving as main point of contact for updating all copy and assets
  • Manage industry award submissions such as the SBC Awards and EGR North America Awards
  • Manage corporate social media accounts including Twitter (@gambling_group) and LinkedIn, including editorial calendar management, asset creation, and posting and scheduling
  • Support the 2021 American Gambling Awards including judge and nominee cultivation, writing for website and press releases, submissions as needed)

Internal communications:

  • Partner with People team to develop and execute communications plans to support key internal initiatives like new tools and software roll outs
  • Partner with management and teams to support all-hands presentations, helping develop content and managing logistics


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communications or media and journalism
  • Passion for project management and organization
  • Expert with written word, preferably with degree in journalism or English
  • Sports betting or gambling experience or interest
  • Experience managing social media accounts
  • Experience working with executives on thought leadership campaigns
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and analytical
