Final Deadline for QCPR Award Entries

When: 8/31/2018 - 9/1/2018 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM Each year PRSA Charlotte through The Queen City PR (QCPR) Awards recognizes practitioners who, in the judgment of their professional peers, have successfully researched, planned, implemented and evaluated communication campaigns with exemplary professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness. The QCPR Awards are the Charlotte region's highest public relations professional honor.

QCPR Crown Awards honor strategic PR campaigns in:

• Integrated Communications
• Community Relations
• Crisis Communications
• Organizational Relations/Internal Communications
• Shoestring Budget Campaign
• Video
• Digital/Social Media
• Print
• Student-run Campaign

Award categories are divided into three subcategories:

1. Business Products/Services
2. Government/Associations/Nonprofit Organizations
3. Solo Practitioner

Additionally, the Queen City PR Awards program honors two outstanding individuals in our community. Charlotte PRSA selects a Pegasus Award honoree and an Infinity Award honoree each for their outstanding contributions to the Queen City.

Pegasus Award - Given to an individual outside of the public relations profession who demonstrates superior knowledge and use of public relations for the betterment of our community.

Infinity Award: Given to a public relations profession whose character, career and service represent the highest standards and who excels in the practice and/or has accomplished an outstanding one-time achievement.
 
The 2018 luncheon will be held October 24 at Byron's South End.
