Children's Theatre of Charlotte, an award-winning professional theatre for young audiences, seeks energetic and enthusiastic under-graduate, graduate student or recent graduate interns to assist in the marketing and audience services department. Interns will assist department staff in day-to-day operations, including researching marketing and publicity leads; creating flyers, posters and other materials; drafting press releases and articles; creating video and social media content; and maintaining publicity and marketing archival materials. Interns will gain tangible job skills and first-hand experience of marketing and public relations in a non-profit environment. Applicants should have a strong interest in the fields of marketing and publicity, as well as the non-profit sector. The successful candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, have excellent writing and communication skills and be comfortable assuming a variety of duties.
